Together in Kenya

Eunice with her nephew and Sr Francisca A.S.N

"The purpose of our mission: to identify the material and immaterial needs of the people and try to meet them as we can… It is love of others, as our Lord preached." Pope Francis

Each year Mission Together focuses attention on one of its many international projects. For 2016-17 our materials tell the true story of 12 year old Eunice. Eunice lives in a small settlement in Kenya with her mother, her older sister and two young nephews. Life for the family is hard, all members live in a one room dwelling, and there is often very little food. Eunice frequently misses school to take care of her nephews while her mother and sister work. But thanks to a free school meal programme established by the Assumption Sisters of Nairobi and supported Mission Together, things are starting to change.

Find out more about the Sisters’ project and join our campaign Together in Kenya to support Eunice and millions of children like her across the world.

Mission Together receives no government funding and so relies entirely on donations from the public.  Please consider supporting our work in your school and parish.

Our Together in Kenya materials, activities, scriptural reflections and seasonal liturgies, are ideal for assemblies and collective worship. They and our other Mission Together materials complement all Catholic RE programmes, uphold Catholic teaching, and are mindful of requirements within the Common Inspection Framework.

See below to download these FREE Together in Kenya materials  and use our order form to obtain additional free resources like posters, stickers, Red Boxes, prayer aides, and more.  Mission Together also provide seasonal liturgies and assemblies to help schools journey through the church year, downloads for which are available on our Advent, Lent, and Summer pages. We also have a team of experienced volunteers who can deliver Mission Together Assemblies at your school. To request a visit, use our online order form.
