The challenge: to build a better future for the children of Vijayawada, India and for children around the world.

The Day of Many Colours is based on the colours of the Misson Rosary in which each colour represents a different continent. It is intended as a day of faith and fundraising on which schools are invited to encourage their children to pray and share to help children overseas.
Your praying and sharing really can make a huge difference to children living in poverty around the world.
Children could dress up in the colours of the Mission Rosary for a fundraising day at school, they could organise a special event, or take part in a sponsored activity. For a selection of fun and simple ideas for organising your own Day of Many Colours, please visit our Action through Sharing section below.

Mission Rosaries are available to order, although we do ask for a voluntary donation of between 50p and £1 per rosary, or whatever you can afford. You are welcome to order rosaries per class or per child. Please contact us for more information. Please see below for a variety of free supporting materials for your Day of Many Colours, available to download. These include a poster, assembly and information on the Mission Rosary. |

We have also provided a Day of Many Colours Sample Timetable as an example of what you could do with the day. You may choose to follow the template for a packed cross-curricular day or you could simply pick and choose activities to suit your needs and preferences. The most important thing this is to have fun and help children overseas through your prayers and fundraising.
If you have any photos or stories from your Day of Many Colours, we would love to hear from you! Just email missiontogether@missio.org.uk
