Nutty Nuts |
 |
You read the story
of Badu on Page 1. Now he and his
brother, Kojo, would like to tell you a bit more about themselves/
| |
|
|
| |
We grow
peanuts on our farm in Ghana. We keep enough to feed our
family and sell the rest at market.
Our mother cracks open the
shells and uses the nuts inside to make soup. |

Another load of peanuts

|

When we go to church on
Sunday we take a gift of peanuts, which we present to
the priest at the Mass instead of giving money.
This is called a gift in
kind. Why do you think we do this? |
