Mission Together will not be making a special appeal in response to the earthquake in Pakistan and India.  As you know Mission Together does not usually carry out emergency appeals, and we feel that after the enormously generous response that schools made to the Tsunami appeal it would be unfair to launch another request. 

 

Furthermore, Church and community related projects in Pakistan and India are already being supported through our sister charity, the APF (the Red Boxes).  The National Directors of Mission Together in Pakistan and India have indicated that APF is providing valuable emergency support alongside the work being done by other Catholic relief agencies such as CAFOD and the Catholic Relief Services of America.
